Details: Dr. Jennifer Gunst attended the University of California at Berkeley where she studied molecular and cell biology. She majored in genetics and worked as a research associate at the UCSF Mount Zion Cancer Center studying adaptation and cell cycle. It was during this time that she became interested in integrative and complementary medicine, as the laboratory next door to where she worked was studying the anti cancer properties of Chinese medicinal herbs and teas.
